How do I play?
Pick the top two teams in each of the eight groups (the order matters — it sets the knockout draw), then tap a winner in every knockout tie up to the champion. Lock in your bracket and the tournament plays out match by match. You score points for the calls you get right.
What's the difference between Daily Challenge and Free Play?
Daily Challenge gives every player the exact same tournament draw each day, so scores are directly comparable — you get one attempt, and a streak for playing day after day. Free Play uses a random draw and is unlimited, for practice and experimenting.
What are confidence picks?
On knockout picks you can add a ×2 or ×3 multiplier from a small pool of tokens. If that pick is correct you earn multiplied points; if it's wrong the token is spent for nothing. It's a risk-and-reward call.
How is the tournament decided — is it the AI?
No. Results come from a built-in deterministic simulation engine, not from AI. Each day's Daily Challenge draw resolves the same way for everyone, which is what makes scores comparable. The AI pundit only adds commentary on top — it never changes a result.
Why does a match go to penalties?
If a knockout tie is level, it goes to a five-kick shootout that's drawn out kick by kick — goal or miss — just like the real thing.
The pundit said something odd.
The commentary is AI-generated, so an occasional strange line can slip through. It's purely cosmetic and can't affect scores or outcomes. If something looks wrong, email us a screenshot and we'll improve it.
Do I need an internet connection?
The game itself — picking, locking in, the reveal and scoring — works fully offline. Only the live AI commentary needs a connection; without one, the app falls back to built-in pundit lines, so the reveal is never blocked.
How do I reset my progress?
Settings → "Reset statistics" clears your scores, streaks and history. Deleting the app also removes all local data.
Is this an official FIFA or World Cup app?
No. Soccer Predictor: Bracket is an independent game and is not affiliated with FIFA or any official organization, league or event. Team names and flags are used for identification only, and there's no real-money betting of any kind.
